NOTD: My Favorite Nail Polish

Hey Girls!
Currently, I am wearing one of my all time favorite nail polish. It's Nail's Inc. Magnetic Nail Polish in Whitehall. It is $16 at Sephora which is quite a lot to spend on a nail polish. However, not only are the effects cool, and work really well, the nail polish itself is great. This nail polish dries so fast, which I really like. By the time I start on my thumb and end at my pinky, my thumb is already dry. The brush is also not too big, where it picks up too much nail polish (I find that sometimes happens with OPI) but not too small where it doesn't pick up enough and you have to apply the nail polish five different times to cover your entire nail. The nail polish is also very opaque. In the picture where you can see the nail polish on my fingers, you can conclude that it doesn't look perfect. Yes I hit my ring finger when I was drying them, so that's why it's messed up hehe. Normally the shower cleans up my cuticles which I am doing tonight so they will look prettier later! Anyways, I am going to try out the Nails Inc. nail polish itself to see if it has the same drying results and opaque-ness. Click here to get the nail polish at Sephora.    Make sure to check out my Questions & Answers Post to leave some questions! (BTW this is not sponsered or any of that stuff.) :)

Late at Night: What to Do?

Hey Everyone.
It's currently 11:40 PM EST, and I got into bed about an hour and a half ago. The only reason why I am doing this random blog is because I'm very bored right now. So what do I do when I can't fall asleep? Since I do not live alone, I can not go downstairs and watch TV or get something to eat or what not. Normally, I just lie in bed for a couple of hours. Sometimes I play 20 Questions on a little handheld 20Q sphere. Other times I play my Nintendo DS, which I got a couple of years ago when I was in elementry school. Unfortunately, it's not charged and I think my brother has the charger somewhere in his room. A weird thing is in other parts of the USA, it's 8:45. So what do you guys do late at night? Some people probably don't think 11:45 is late at all. It isn't really, but the thought that it's slowly inching towards midnight and the next day is weird. I might try again to go to sleep, so good night! Sweet dreams! ~~Kait~~

HAUL: Getting Ready for Summer

Hey Girls!
I have a pretty small haul for you today, (only four items) but I realized how much they all relate to Summer, so I thought I would actually do a small haul. First I went to American Eagle about a week ago, and then Sephora yesterday.
American Eagle:
1) Bright Peach Midi Shorts
AE Colored Denim Midi Short - Buy One Get One $10

2) Neon Yellow Midi Shorts (same link as above)

Both of these shorts are bright for Summer! And brights are always in for Summertime!

SEPHORA by OPI - Nail Colour

This bubble gum pink color is the perfect color to transition into Summer from Spring. I can't wait to try it out!

2) Taylor Swift Wonderstruck Roll On (New favorite Scent! It's a fruity but vanilla-y sweet scent.)
                                              Taylor Swift - Wonderstruck
I love this scent. It reminds me of Summer-but I think it can be a year-round kind of scent, I hope so! (I'm still going to wear it either way) ;)
Hope you enjoyed!

My Two Favorite Mascaras (One Drugstore, One High-End)

Hey Girls!
I have two mascaras that I both love. Sometimes I like one more than the other, and other times I can't decide so I just say that I like both. So the two mascaras that I love are: Maybeline Great Lash Mascara in BIG and Fresh's Supernova Mascara. (Sorry for the packaging on the Great Lash.)

Maybeline Great Lash Mascara in BIG:
This mascara, with one coat, can make your lashes look really natural, but a little longer, and a little more thick. The more coats you apply (as with any mascara) the more intense it gets, especially with this one. The formula of this mascara is pretty good. Compared to my Supernova Mascara, it has like a brittle texture. Another word that comes to mind is crispy, which makes-well when you think about it, it kind of makes sense. Does that make sense at all?

Fresh Supernova Mascara:
This is my current favorite out of these two. Like I said in the beginning, it always changes. This mascara is very similar in ways to the Great Lash. When you apply one coat of this, it looks natural, but your lashes are a little longer and a little more thick. Whereas the Great Lash does both (lengthening and adds thickness) Supernova lengthens more, but it does make your lashes a little more thick. Moreover, like I mentioned before, this formula is very... soft..? I don't know if soft is a good word to describe it, but it applies to well and feels natural on your lashes.

Hope you enjoyed! Let me know what else you're interested on seeing reviews on. :) -Kait

My Makeup Collection & Storage!

Hey Girls!
Today I am doing a pretty exciting post! So far, the month of June has been a great blogging month. I reached 500 page views this month, and received the Laine Blogger Award. I wanted to thank you guys by doing this exciting post! In no way am I trying to brag at all! Also, some of it I bought, some of it I received for my birthday and Christmas. I also get most of my makeup in sets, which is why I have a lot of minis.

I keep my makeup on my dresser where I have my mirror. I know I don't have a lot of makeup to some, but to other's I might have a lot for my age as a young teen. I got this 3-drawer holder I believe at Walmart a while ago, but you could find something similar at your department store I bet.

On top, I keep a box of tissues in case I get makeup anywhere, or if I sneeze and stuff. In the back in the right hand corner, I keep my EOS Lip balm in Summer Fruit. In front, I have my CVS Pharmacy Targeted Acne Spot Treatment. I like how this matches the tissue box, and plus I also use it more regularly. Next to that is my Sugar Rose Lip Treatment from Fresh.  I also like the looks of this on top, and this product is amazing. Then I have two shells because my room has some beachy related areas. And last, but not least, my B&BW Anti-Bacterial Hand Gel in Berry Twinkle. Again, the colors match and I also really like this one too.

The first drawer contains all my high-end lip products with the exception of my 3 Revlon Lip Sticks/Butters. Starting in the top right, I have 4 MAC Lipglasses that I got for Christmas in the Dazzlesphere from the Glitter & Ice Collection. Mine is in Pink Ornament which has two Dazzleglasses, and two Creemsheens. (Left going Right) The first two Dazzleglasses are in Like Venus and then Rags to Riches. The two Creemsheens are in Fashion Scoop and Petite Indulgence. In the middle is a Philosophy lip gloss that my mom gave me, and it's in the color Vanilla Birthday Cake. After that I have a Lancome Juicy Tube Smoothie in Spring Fling. Lastly, I have a Stila Lip Glaze in Guava. Moving down, I have a Buxom Big (but small because it's a mini) & Healthy Lipstick in Brooklyn (my dog's name!). I then have an Urban Decay Lip Junkie in Naked, a MAC Creemsheen Lipstick in Shy Girl (nude coral), two Revlon Lip Butters- Sweet Tart and Cotton Candy. And finally a Revlon Lipstick in Teak Rose which my mom gave to me ages ago (a cranberry red).

The second drawer is dedicated to face/primers. Starting in the back I have 3 Q-Tips for "emergencies". Then I have Bare Minerals Prime Time, Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion, Fresh High Noon Fresh Face Glow (cream bronzer), Benefit's Porefessional, and a Maybeline Dream Bouncy Blush in 40 Pink Plum. Going down, I have my MAC Mineralize Concealer (NW15), a MAC Sheertone Blush in Pinch O' Peach (it's a lighter pink than in the picture.) Benefit's Stay Don't Stray, Benefit's High Beam, and a Josie Maran Argan Color Stick in Rosy.

My last drawer is my eye drawer. All the way to the right I have my Naked2 Brush which has a flat shader side and a crease side. Then I have a MAC Paint Pot in Treasure Hunt which I got at a CCO, and in front of that I have a MAC Mineralize Eyeshadow in Pretty & Prim that I also got at a CCO. Then another MAC Eyeshadow in All That Glitters, Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Sin, and moving left, a Stila eyeshadow in Kitten. Above that I have my Maybeline Eyelash Curler. I am quite the mascara junkie so yeah, hehe. (Right to Left) I have Benefit's Bad Gal Lash, Fresh Supernova Mascara and underneath a Tarte Lights, Camera, Splashes! waterproof natural mascara. Then I have two Great Lash mascaras from Maybeline. One is Lots of Lashes, and the other is the BIG kind. After that, I have two eyeliners- a Maybeline Define the Line in Soft Black, and a Sephora Flashy Liner Waterproof eyeliner in 01 Flashy Black.

On the side, I have Boscia Green Tea Blotting Linens, a Sonia Kashuk palette in 10 Perfectly Neutral, and a Make Up For Ever lip sample.

And lastly my Naked 2 Palette.

I hope you enjoyed! Let me know if you want a review on any of these products. The one's with the links lead you to the review. Bye! -Kait

TAG: Summer Sun Tag

Hey Girls!
So guess what?! I just got out of school! We had a half day today if you're wondering why I am out so early! Anyways, to kick my "Summer" off, I decided to do the Summer Sun Tag!

Favorite...
Hair Product: I love anything anti-frizz-y. My hair gets very frizzy in the Summer so I need to put the fly aways down!
Body Product: I've been loving the Soap & Glory Body Moisturizing Mist. It feels cooling and doubles as a light moisturizer and fragrance.
Skincare Product: Clean & Clear Morning Burst Facial Scrub-This is for the morning, so it's very fresh and it feels very cool and nice on the skin.
Face Product: The Boscia Green Tea Blotting Linens are great because if you start to get oily or are sweating, they absorb the oil/sweat.
Self Tanner: The Sun!! But I actually get burned more than tan.
Scent: Coconut Lime Breeze from B&BW! It smells amazing!
Nail Polish: Essie's E-Nuf is E-Nuf. It's a bright red but it has coral and pink undertones!
Eye Product: MAC All That Glitters Eyeshadow. This is my second favorite eyeshadow. It's a medium brown with golden shimmers and I like it on the lid for summer, but I will still use UD Sin!
Clothing: I love the Midi-Shorts from American Eagle. I have a pair in bright neon yellow, and peach! They are longer than your average shortie shorts, and like it says, come to about mid thigh.
Accessory: Hmm... a lot of things. I guess earrings in general because they are easy, yet they can change the complete look of the outfit (in some cases)!

Happy Summer! I tag all of you!

I went away the past weekend and for two nights, leaving on Friday after school. Anyways, I wanted to do a short post on what I brought in my cosmetic bag! ~EOS Lip Balm in Summer Fruit
~Urban Decay Naked2 Brush

I think that's it! You can get all these products as Sephora, MAC, and the drugstore. Thanks for reading!

"The Hunger Games": Liam Hemsworth Engaged?!

Hey Everyone!
I know I haven't done a THG post in FOREVER but (no offense) there's nothing really exciting happening right now. Until I heard about this. Liam Hemsworth, who plays Gale, is engaged to Miley Cyrus after 3 years of dating! I have been wanting to do a THG post, but I had no clue of what to do it on. Voila! (That's how you spell it right? It reminds me of the word Viola-which I have been playing since 5th grade.) Anywhoo, I just wanted to share that news! Have a great day!

The Laine Blogger Award

Hey Everyone!
I wanted to say thank you to Something_Beautiful at Something Beautiful for nominating me for The Laine Blogger Award. Her blog is so pretty and she has really great posts! Also, I wanted to say thank you to anyone that's reading this, especially if you check out my blog regularly. I just hit 500 page views! Thank you so much for that too! I am so grateful for everything! Anyways, let's continue!

The rules are:
~Tag the blogger who awarded you
~Award 5 more bloggers
~Then answer the questions Jasmine added to spice it up!

The 5 Questions:
1. What is your current beauty obsession?
2. What is one beauty item you wished you owned?
3. What kind of posts are your favourite posts to write, and read?
4. What inspired you to become a blogger?
5. What colour nail polish are you wearing right now?

1. My current beauty obsession:
My current beauty obsession is my Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Sin. It's a champagne pink color that is so pretty to wear all year, but with the pink undertones, it's especially nice for Spring!

2. One beauty item I wish I own:
One beauty item I wish I own is the original Naked Palette. I have about five Urban Decay products, and I love them all! I have the Naked2 Palette and love that. I guess any UD product in general.

3. My favorite kind of posts to write:
My favorite kind of posts to write are reviews and tags. I haven't done any tags yet, but I've always wanted to. If you guys have any you would like me to do, let me know! I like reviews because it's a good amount of writing (not as short as a thank you, or happy something, but not as long as my May Favorites!). I also think people enjoy those most, and I want to do post you guys like. It takes more time because I like to take the pictures myself, but it's worth it!

4. Inspiration to become a blogger:
My inspiration to become a blogger happened for a few reasons. One I was reading a THG book (The Girl Who Was on Fire-no suprise there) and I really liked the idea of sharing my thoughts on certain topics, kind of how it made you see things in a different way. I also really wanted to share my beauty ideas/tips, stuff like that, to people; whether it was that I make YouTube videos, or make a blog. I decided to make a blog because I didn't want myself completely out there, no matter how much fun it is. (I might give into that eventually though... haha.) Anyways, I really like sharing my ideas with people, and I like typing :P so yeah, one day I did it. And I am glad I did! (Sorry if this is all over the place hehe, I am still so excited!)

5. Current nail polish color:
This is actually, in one of those ways, a not-funny-but-kind-of-ironic-or-a-coincidence type thing. I watch YouTube a lot... probably too much. I have people I will always watch, and am subscribed to, and then I have YouTubers I will occasionally check in on. Well, I occasionally check in on Macbarbie07, and she had a marble nail tutorial (click here to watch) and so I tried that. (It worked, some nails were better than others.) Anyways, to the point, I had to use more than one color. So I used mostly Sephora by OPI nail polishes, "It's Totally Karma", "It's All About Me", "Slushied" (from the Glee Set-no I don't watch Glee.) and an Essie one called "E'nuf is E'nuf". So yeah.

Awarded Bloggers!:

Maura at Polos Pearls & Bows
Jaci Walker

Update! I Changed Some Things!

Hey Everyone!
I don't know if you've noticed, but I changed a few things on my blog. Let me know if you like the small changes! For instance, I changed the color of the date to pink! One of my favorite things I changed are the links, I made them dark purple, and when you click on one it changes to light purple. Furthermore, if you hover over them, it turns them bright green! (That's part is my favorite!) Try it out! (This just goes to my blog)
So if you don't like the colors or anything, just let me know, and I will consider fixing them. Thanks! -Kait

May Favorites

Hey everyone!
As you know, it's now June, which means time for another favorites! Here are some products that I have been loving this month:

Makeup:

High-End:

1) MAC Mineralize Concealer: This has medium coverage, lasts a while, and moisturizes really well!

2) MAC Eyeshadow "All That Glitters": This is a really pretty medium brown with golden shimmer in and is nicely pigmented. Personally, I think it's more of a lid color, but I put it in my crease to warm up my eyes.

3) MAC Creemsheen Lipstick "Shy Girl": The Creemsheens are creamier formulas than the other lipsticks (as far as I know). This is a gorgeous coral nude color, perfect for summer.

4) Urban Decay Eyeshadow "Sin": This is a really pretty lid color. It's very pigmented. To learn and read more about it, check out my other blog post here.

5) Urban Decay Naked2 Palette: This palette has a variety of shades from a light ivory tan to a matte black. The eyeshadows are very pigmented and I really like them. (I also love the brush and lip gloss that come along with it!)

6) Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion: This primer potion does not crease from when I leave the house in the morning, to when I get back from school. I love this product and I will definitely be repurchasing it!

I have been loving some other products like the Fresh Sugar Rose Lip Balm and a few others, but I wanted to keep it to the products I love and didn't do a review on (with the exception of my UD Eyeshadow).

Drugstore:

7) Maybeline Great Lash "Lots of Lashes" and "BIG": I absolutely love both of these mascaras. The Lots of Lashes lengthen your lashes really well, and the BIG mascara makes them look more full.

8) Revlon Lip Butters in "Cotton Candy" and "Sweet Tart": First of all, RLB are very pigmented and moisturizing. Cotton Candy is a light pink wearable-everyday kind of color. If you like bright colors, I highly recommend Sweet Tart because it is such beautiful color, but is very bright.

9) CVS Pharmacy Targeted Acne Spot Treatment: Check out my review for information on this product :)

10) Clean & Clear Morning Burst Facial Scrub: Also check out my other review on more information on this product :)

Other:

11) B&BW "Coconut Lime Breeze" (Scent in general) Body Lotion: I love this scent! It's my new favorite from B&BW! Yes, it beat Sweet Pea and Orange Ginger. It's sweet but lime and tropical smelling too. I am definitely getting more products in this scent!

12) Victoria Secret's PINK "Sweet & Flirty" Body Mist: This is my second favorite perfume type product this month. Out of all my PINK perfumes (I have 4 minis) Soft & Dreamy will always be my favorite. But this just screams Spring! It's like "Sweet Pea" (B&BW) or "Pretty & Pure" (PINK) but with a little musk and the 4th scent I own, "Fresh & Clean" all mixed together.

My favorite books this month have been: Insurgent (Veronica Roth), Pandemonium (Lauren Oliver), Shiver (Maggie Steifvater), and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, as well as Half Blood Prince (J.K. Rowling).  This are pretty much all the books I read this month beside my book for school.

Let me know what your favorites were this month! Leave a link to your May Favorites if you did one below! I will check it out. -Kait

No one is sponsoring me or any of that kind of stooff. (I think stooff is a fun word.)

Guess What I Ordered?

Hey Girls!
I just wanted to let you guys know, I did get the products. I couldn't help myself! I just kept going on Sephora to look at them! So, if you want reviews on any of the products, let me know. However it won't be up for a while because I won't get them for about a week, and then I will have to try them out to make sure I like them. But don't worry! I have a bunch of reviews I can be doing soon, so look out for those! --Kait

Should I Get These Products? #2: Sephora

Hey Girls!
I thought I should do another one of these posts because I am in a bit of a dilemma, and also from what I see on my stats chart, you guys seem like you like them.
I was looking online at Sephora about a month ago, and I found something I really wanted. It comes with a bunch of bath products and it's $36. Another product I found also contains many products, but are beauty related. This is $50. I really want to get both, but the only thing that is holding me back is that I want to get them together and that is a total of $86. It might not seem like a lot to some of my viewers, but I don't have a job because I'm too young (maybe babysitting...) so I can't earn money that way. My birthday past about a month ago (before I found the first set) therefore I was unable to ask for it. Anyways, here are the two products:
Sephora Favorites - Beauty & The Bride
Sephora Favorites: Beauty & the Bride ($50)
              (I'm not getting married... haha)
It includes: (I copied and pasted this from Sephora)
        - 0.20 oz Josie Maran Argan Oil Color Stick in Rosy (dusty rose)
- 0.09 oz Stila Eye Shadow in Kitten (shimmering nude pink)
- 0.125 oz Sephora by O.P.I. Nail Colour in True Romantic (sheer cool light pink)
- 0.25 oz Benefit The Porefessional
- 0.28 Lancôme Juicy Tubes in Spring Fling
- 0.10 oz Tarte Lights, Camera, Splashes! Mascara in black
- 0.05 oz bareMinerals Prime Time Eyelid Primer
- 0.04 oz Sephora Collection Flashy Liner Waterproof in Flashy Black
- 0.004 oz Buxom® Big & Healthy™ Lipstick in Brooklyn (harvest fig)
- Boscia Green Tea Blotting Linens (100 sheets)
- 0.16 oz Flora by Gucci Eau Fraîche
- Voucher for a complimentary Special Occasion Makeover at the Sephora in-store Beauty Studio

- Reusable keepsake box

I really wanted to try the Stila eye shadow, more Sephora by OPI nail polish, the Porefessional, and the blotting sheets before I found this. How perfect?!

Soap & Glory: Do a Bubble Take™ Set (I copied the little TM-how cute! Sorry...)

It includes: (I copied and pasted this too...)

- 1.69 oz Flake Away Body Polish
- 1.69 oz The Righteous Butter
- 2.5 oz Clean On Me Shower Gel
- 1.7 oz Hand Food Hand Cream To Go
- 1.69 oz Glad Hair Day Ultra-Shine Daily Shampoo
- 3.4 oz Girligo Spray-On Body Moisturizing Mist
- Super Sudsy Shower Pouf
- Barrel Bag

So shoudl I get this products? Have you tried any of these products out? If so, please let me know how you like/dislike them. Thanks! -Kait
