Hey Everyone!
Yesterday, I went and saw The Hunger Games. Personally, this was the best movie ever!!!!! I would recomend reading the book first. They added some new scenes in, but also took out some. SPOILER! I'm going to list some things below! :)
Parts They Added In:
~President Snow talking to Seneca Crane (2 scenes)
~Haymitch getting sponsers for Katniss
~Haymitch watching kids play with swords
~Seneca Crane's death (not completely shown)
~Katniss getting the Mockingjay pin from Greasy Sae
~A few Gale shots during the Games
~Katniss playing with her room controls making the view into the Capitol a forest
~Father's death during hallucinations
And More!
Parts They Didn't Include:
~Madge
~Mr. Mellark giving Katniss cookies
~Avoxes (there was a reference though)
~Special Effects in Katniss' room (ex. the shower)
~Goat Story in the cave
~Feast in the cave
~Mutts not having tribute features
~Peeta's leg starting to bleed during Cato's death
~Katniss screaming for Peeta after getting out of the Games (and her getting operated on in general)
~Peeta's fake leg (you have to admit, that would be pretty hard to do)
And a few other small scenes
Even though there's some parts they didn't include, I have to give them credit. I thought it was great though! The acting was really good! I also loved how they included humor... of Effie! "THAT'S MAHOGANY!"
