My Acne Saver is a Drugstore Product?!

Hey Girls!
You don't need to go high-end for skin. You don't need to go high-end for anything! Of course, the products can work better, or feel nicer. However, my favorite (so far) skin care product is the CVS Pharmacy Targeted Acne Spot Treatment. My skin (since I'm young) is oily around my nose, other than that, my skin is not exactly dry, but not oily. My skin isn't terribly acne-prone either. I find that when I don't use this product I break out because I don't have the preventage. Anyways, I have been using this product for almost a year, went through two bottles, and my skin isn't all that bad. Of course it isn't perfect, I have a few small bumps, but most of the time it's fine. This is a cream and my cousin tried it and she said that it doesn't dry her out that much. Personally, I don't think it dries me out at all (maybe a little if anything). I use this after every shower (every other day) when my skin is drier and my pores are open. Since my skin is dry then, when I put this on it almost mosturizes it. This prevents and gets rid of current acne. I don't know how it will work on your skin, but for me it's the anti-acne product I only use. Sometimes I will occasionally use my Fresh Soy Face Cleanser (which is amazing, but I have a deluxe size, so I only use it on times when I need it). If your looking for a drugstore product to try out, and just want to give something a try, I would recommend this!
(Sorry for the lighting, I took this at 8:30PM-my blog times are off, it says I post things at 12:00 (noon) when I post them at 3:00)

My Hair Tip Secret

Hey Beauties!
So I have a little hair secret...
You know when your hair is just a mess? Or even if it's not, hair is going in the other direction than what it's supposed too, or your hair is frizzy, sticking up? Well, my secret for this is to brush it. Not with a regular comb, or an average brush, but with a thick-bristled brush. It might not take out your knots, (depending how thick your hair is) however, it keeps my hair in place and makes it softer. The stiffer the bristles, the better results. Here is a picture of the brush that I love to use. My grandmother gave it to me, but you can probably find something similar a t CVS, Wal~Mart, or Walgreens, or something. :)

My New Favorite Everyday Eyeshadow

Hey Girls!
I have been loving this eyeshadow! I've been wearing it almost everyday. It's Sin by Urban Decay. It's a shimmery champange pink color. It's a perfect color just on the lid. Urban Decay eyeshadows are very pigmented and creamy (as a powder). I highly recommend this! It's also in the Naked Palette.

Two Books You Should Check Out if You Liked THG

Hey Everyone! I wanted to make a list of things I think you should check out. If you enjoyed reading The Hunger Games (<3), you might want to check these two books out. I jsut recently finished reading Delirium, and read Divergent not too long ago

Divergent | Veronica Roth

Gary Ross Not Directing 'Catching Fire'

Hey Everyone,
You might have heard about Gary Ross still deciding if he wanted to direct Catching Fire about a week or so ago. It was official just the other day that he will not be directing Catching Fire. It's truly sad, but I believe that Gary Ross knows the best choice to make. Who do you think should be the new director? Hunger Games Sequel Switch: Who Should Direct Catching Fire?

Here are some articles that you might want to check out about this news.

My THG Nails

Hey Everyone!
Today is a THG post and a beauty post!! This is how I painted my nails for the movie! (I have a limited amount of nail polish, so I did the best I could!) I used Sephora by OPI for all nails and in the Glee set!

Here is a close up. On the pinkie finger I wanted to represent the Capitol.  I did a hot purple-pink raspberry color called "Miss Bossy Pants" with a layer of multi-colored (mostly sliver) sparkles called "Celibacy Club". On my ring finger I used a coral with pink sparkles called "Express Yourself to Yourself". This color reminded me of the dress Katniss wore during her interview. On my thumb, I used a navy with blue sparkles, just for a background, called "Sue vs. Shue". I wrote (well, my friend wrote-using her nail art pen that I don't know where she got from-sorry!) KE + PM. On my other thumb, my friend wrote 12 for District 12!
On my middle finger, I painted it a matte light blue called "Slushied" and then used "Sue vs. Shue" for the other half and then dotted "Celibacy Club". I did this to represent the days and nights spent in the arena. My pointer finger, I used "Slushied" again. But this time I took "Gleek Out", which is an olive-lime sparkly green color, and made a cloud shape for trees!

I hope you guys enjoyed! :) -Kait
