January Favorites (Top Ten)

Hey everyone!
January favorites are probably one of my favorite favorites to share because I have all the new things that I got to try out from Christmas. Therefore, I decided to narrow it down to my top ten.

1. My Rebecca Minkoff Mini M.A.C: I have been loving this purse and really recommend it! It's so cute and comfortable to wear!

2. True Blue Spa Body/Hand Lotion: This stuff is amazing. The body lotion compared to B&BW lotion is equivalent to their body butters. They are so rich and moisturizing and not greasy. They smell great too!

3. Fresh Sugar Lip Scrub: One reason why I love this product is because not only is it exfoliating, but at the same time it produces moisture. It also taste pretty good!

4. Soap and Glory Cleansing Toilette: I got these at Sephora for $10, and considering I love S&G, I decided to pick them up. They cleanse, tone, and do a tiny bit of exfoliation. (Sephora has them online too, under skincare.) They work really well and make my skin feel refreshed!

5. Too Faced Naked Eye Palette: I really like this product. There are a bunch of beautiful pigmented eye shadows that you can wear so easily and well. My favorite is Satin Sheets, which is similar to UD Sin, but it has more of a gold shimmer.

6. LUSH Snow Fairy Body Wash: I recently posted a review on this product, so if you saw that then you know I love it! It smells so good, like candy, and leaves you feeling clean!

7. B&BW Shea Infused Fuzzy Socks: I can not tell you how much I wore these this month. In fact, I'm wearing them now! Some of my fuzzy socks I have to put on lotion before I put them on since they lost most of their fuzziness, but these I don't have to worry about it because they are already Shea-Infused!

8. PINK Yoga Pants: I got these for Christmas and loved them. I wasn't expecting to love them a lot, just love, but they're so comfy! I really recommend them!

9. Fresh Sugar Berry Lip Treatment: You should all know by now how much I love my Sugar Rose. For Christmas, in a set, I got the berry one. When you look at it for the first time it's scary. It's a deep, deep brown burgundy berry. However, it is tinted so when you wear it it looks more of like a light berry pink!

10. My iPhone: I upgraded my phone from an Android (LG Ally, which I loved) to an iPhone 4S and love it. I'm sure you're familiar with it, so all I can say is I love it!

Best 12 of 2012

Hey everyone!
Today I will be sharing my top 12 favorite products for this year! These go in no particular order. Hope everyone has a wonderful 2013!

1. Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette
There are so may different colors in this palette which adds so much versatility to any look.

2. Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Sin
As you all probably know, I love this eyeshadow! It's a perfect simple shade and so pretty and pigmented!

3. Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion
Last Urban Decay product! But honestly, this is worth it! Without this, my eyeshadow would be long gone on my eyelids.

4. Maybeline Great Lash Mascaras
I'm kind of cheating here because I'm counting two products: the BIG version and the Lots of Lashes one. I really love both!

5. Fresh Supernova Mascara
With one coat of this, your eyelashes get nicely separated with a natural touch of black. Keep adding more coats to lengthen! I also love the formula!

6. Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment
I know, you all were waiting for me to say this. I can't seem to say it enough how amazing this product has been!

7. EOS Lip Balm "Summer Fruit"
This is a really nice lip balm. Although I find it not as buttery, I guess, or like thick as the Sugar Treatments, it definitely is deserving of a spot here.

8. CVS Pharmacy Targeted Acne Spot Treatment
Not only is this a favorite for this year, but also last year. It may not help you, but it certainly does for me!

9. Fresh Soy Face Cleanser
This is a really great relaxing cleanser and also very good for your skin too.

10. Tresemme Thermal Creations
Now I don't normally talk about hair products, but this hair protector is by far my favorite. It smells great and leaves your hair really soft and shiny.

11. nails inc. Magnetic Nail Polish: Whitehall
The magnetic affect really does work but that's not the only reason why I love this. It dries quickly, the brush isn't too big or too small so it doesn't allow a huge glob of nail polish or none at all.

12. B&BW Body Butter
I have Moonlight Path and Carried Away in body butter and love it. I find they're so moisturizing and they smell good too!

Again, hope you all have a wonderful year ahead! -Kait

Christmas Wishlist!

Hey Everyone!
As you can tell from the title, I'll be sharing what I want for Christmas this year. I have a few specific things I like to get, but I also tell my mom to surprise me! I have a Christmas Wishlist on my other blog for books. In general, I ask for beauty products and clothes. I will not receive all of these things, and my mom (she does the shopping) may change out one thing with a different beauty product or something. Anyways, here's the list:

~iPhone 4S White

I really want a Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAC because I have a really large tote, and then a few small bags. Some are from Vera Bradley, and I have one wristlet from Coach. I figure that if I do get this, I will use it so much and keep it for as long as it live, which may be as long as I live, haha.
I also want a new phone, specifically the iPhone. My dad has one, my brother has 2 iTouches (one of them the screen is missing, so even if he did give it to me, I wouldn't do much with it, and he still uses it), and my mom has an iPad. I have an iPod nano, lol. I got it in fourth grade and it has a bunch of other songs on it and stuff, so I never really use it. You may see now why I want an iPhone. My phone is also due for an upgrade this month. :)
For the LUSH goodies, I haven't tried LUSH out and I really want to! Especially the bath bombs!
The Hunger Games=<333333333333 times 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000.... (get the point?) plus Nail Polish= <3 and when you put them together <3333!
I feel as though I don't have to explain my obsession (with THG) and the Fresh Sugar Lip Balms and products. So yeah.
As some of you know, I am also obsessed with YouTube, and of course, I watch Elle and Blair! I have been watching them for a long time (ish) and wanted to support them in a way other than watching all their videos!
For the PB Teen thing, I have been wanting this for what feels like forever, and so I just decided to ask for it for Christmas!
Let me know what your asking for for your holiday in the comments!

Great Deals on my Favorite Lip Balm (Fresh Sugar Lip Balms)

Hey everyone!
I was looking around at Sephora and looking at their gift sets and saw that Fresh came out with a bunch of sets involving the Fresh Lip Balms. These are by far my absolute favorite lip balm! I have a review here. Anyways, I would love to have a billion of these, but they are very pricey at $22.50. Like I said, I found quite a few of these sets including them, and so for those who haven't tried them out yet or love them like me, I decided to post links down below for you all! This is not sponsered or anything, but I thought it would be a good idea to share with you all!

Sugar Addiction Mini Lip Collection $48

Kissing Ritual $25

Sugar Perfection Duo $22.50 (This is probably going to be on my wishlist for Christmas!)

Sugar Soiree Mini Lip Collection $68 (Contains 8 Products)

I didn't put all of them, but if you do get to try them out, let me know what you think! -Kait

My Skincare Products and Use

Hey Everyone!
Today's blog post is on the three skincare products I love to use. My acne is not terrible, so this is a good routine for me and maintaining your skin. A little disclaimer is that I have not tried out so many products to have something to compare it to. I may say, "This is the best ___," but that's just the best for me. Long story short, some of these products you may love, while others-not so much. Anyways, let's get started!

*Links will take you to the product, all prices are USD.
1. Remove All Makeup
First I use my makeup remover, which technically isn't a skincare product, however it is the first product I use in my regimen. I use the Clinque Take the Day Off Makeup Remover for Lids, Lashes, and Lips. I got mine for $18 at Sephora. I really like this and it does take off makeup really well. It's not oil free, but you're only supposed to use on your eye area and lips. If you wanted to but this, but are worried it's going to make you oily, you can uses a wash cloth after and cleanse your face. :) I only wear mascara and eyeshadow, and sometimes concealer, so this works fine for me (for the concealer I will use a little of this; I will also use water, or my cleanser-it depends.) I use a cotton ball and gently rub it on my eyelids.

2. Exfoliate
Second I use my exfoliant. I use the Clean & Clear Morning Burst Facial Scrub which I got at Walmart for $4.47. I have a review here if you want to learn more. I take my finger and put a little bigger than a pea onto both my cheeks and forehead and take a smaller amount for my nose and chin.

3. Cleanse!
For cleansing my skin, I use my Fresh Soy Face Cleanser which I also got at Sephora. I absolutely love this stuff. It makes your skin really soft and it also takes off makeup well too. I highly recommend this! I also use a cotton ball and gently apply this all over my face. I take a wash cloth and lightly pat at my face.

4. Spot Treat
I use my CVS Pharmacy Targeted Acne Spot Treatment, which you can get at CVS. I have  review here. I do the same thing with the Clean and Clear product for application, but not as much. I do apply this all over my face because it helps maintain and prevent acne, but of course there's always that stubborn pimple!

That's all I do! I do all of this steps after my shower every other day, except cleansing because I don't have a lot of my Soy Face Cleanser. Thanks for reading! -Kait

My Two Favorite Mascaras (One Drugstore, One High-End)

Hey Girls!
I have two mascaras that I both love. Sometimes I like one more than the other, and other times I can't decide so I just say that I like both. So the two mascaras that I love are: Maybeline Great Lash Mascara in BIG and Fresh's Supernova Mascara. (Sorry for the packaging on the Great Lash.)

Maybeline Great Lash Mascara in BIG:
This mascara, with one coat, can make your lashes look really natural, but a little longer, and a little more thick. The more coats you apply (as with any mascara) the more intense it gets, especially with this one. The formula of this mascara is pretty good. Compared to my Supernova Mascara, it has like a brittle texture. Another word that comes to mind is crispy, which makes-well when you think about it, it kind of makes sense. Does that make sense at all?

Fresh Supernova Mascara:
This is my current favorite out of these two. Like I said in the beginning, it always changes. This mascara is very similar in ways to the Great Lash. When you apply one coat of this, it looks natural, but your lashes are a little longer and a little more thick. Whereas the Great Lash does both (lengthening and adds thickness) Supernova lengthens more, but it does make your lashes a little more thick. Moreover, like I mentioned before, this formula is very... soft..? I don't know if soft is a good word to describe it, but it applies to well and feels natural on your lashes.

Hope you enjoyed! Let me know what else you're interested on seeing reviews on. :) -Kait

My Makeup Collection & Storage!

Hey Girls!
Today I am doing a pretty exciting post! So far, the month of June has been a great blogging month. I reached 500 page views this month, and received the Laine Blogger Award. I wanted to thank you guys by doing this exciting post! In no way am I trying to brag at all! Also, some of it I bought, some of it I received for my birthday and Christmas. I also get most of my makeup in sets, which is why I have a lot of minis.

I keep my makeup on my dresser where I have my mirror. I know I don't have a lot of makeup to some, but to other's I might have a lot for my age as a young teen. I got this 3-drawer holder I believe at Walmart a while ago, but you could find something similar at your department store I bet.

On top, I keep a box of tissues in case I get makeup anywhere, or if I sneeze and stuff. In the back in the right hand corner, I keep my EOS Lip balm in Summer Fruit. In front, I have my CVS Pharmacy Targeted Acne Spot Treatment. I like how this matches the tissue box, and plus I also use it more regularly. Next to that is my Sugar Rose Lip Treatment from Fresh.  I also like the looks of this on top, and this product is amazing. Then I have two shells because my room has some beachy related areas. And last, but not least, my B&BW Anti-Bacterial Hand Gel in Berry Twinkle. Again, the colors match and I also really like this one too.

The first drawer contains all my high-end lip products with the exception of my 3 Revlon Lip Sticks/Butters. Starting in the top right, I have 4 MAC Lipglasses that I got for Christmas in the Dazzlesphere from the Glitter & Ice Collection. Mine is in Pink Ornament which has two Dazzleglasses, and two Creemsheens. (Left going Right) The first two Dazzleglasses are in Like Venus and then Rags to Riches. The two Creemsheens are in Fashion Scoop and Petite Indulgence. In the middle is a Philosophy lip gloss that my mom gave me, and it's in the color Vanilla Birthday Cake. After that I have a Lancome Juicy Tube Smoothie in Spring Fling. Lastly, I have a Stila Lip Glaze in Guava. Moving down, I have a Buxom Big (but small because it's a mini) & Healthy Lipstick in Brooklyn (my dog's name!). I then have an Urban Decay Lip Junkie in Naked, a MAC Creemsheen Lipstick in Shy Girl (nude coral), two Revlon Lip Butters- Sweet Tart and Cotton Candy. And finally a Revlon Lipstick in Teak Rose which my mom gave to me ages ago (a cranberry red).

The second drawer is dedicated to face/primers. Starting in the back I have 3 Q-Tips for "emergencies". Then I have Bare Minerals Prime Time, Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion, Fresh High Noon Fresh Face Glow (cream bronzer), Benefit's Porefessional, and a Maybeline Dream Bouncy Blush in 40 Pink Plum. Going down, I have my MAC Mineralize Concealer (NW15), a MAC Sheertone Blush in Pinch O' Peach (it's a lighter pink than in the picture.) Benefit's Stay Don't Stray, Benefit's High Beam, and a Josie Maran Argan Color Stick in Rosy.

My last drawer is my eye drawer. All the way to the right I have my Naked2 Brush which has a flat shader side and a crease side. Then I have a MAC Paint Pot in Treasure Hunt which I got at a CCO, and in front of that I have a MAC Mineralize Eyeshadow in Pretty & Prim that I also got at a CCO. Then another MAC Eyeshadow in All That Glitters, Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Sin, and moving left, a Stila eyeshadow in Kitten. Above that I have my Maybeline Eyelash Curler. I am quite the mascara junkie so yeah, hehe. (Right to Left) I have Benefit's Bad Gal Lash, Fresh Supernova Mascara and underneath a Tarte Lights, Camera, Splashes! waterproof natural mascara. Then I have two Great Lash mascaras from Maybeline. One is Lots of Lashes, and the other is the BIG kind. After that, I have two eyeliners- a Maybeline Define the Line in Soft Black, and a Sephora Flashy Liner Waterproof eyeliner in 01 Flashy Black.

On the side, I have Boscia Green Tea Blotting Linens, a Sonia Kashuk palette in 10 Perfectly Neutral, and a Make Up For Ever lip sample.

And lastly my Naked 2 Palette.

I hope you enjoyed! Let me know if you want a review on any of these products. The one's with the links lead you to the review. Bye! -Kait

Review: Fresh Sugar Rose Lip Treatment

Hey Girls!
So as promised, today is a beauty post! I will be reviewing Fresh's Sugar Rose Lip Treatment. First of all, the lip balm has SPF 15. I have been mostly using this for my chapped lips, not for SPF, so unfortunately I am unable to tell you if it works for the SPF part. However, I can tell you how well it works for the purpose I use it for. This lip balm is the most moisturizing lip balm I have ever used. It lasts for longer than I am used to, and creates a smooth, and (an almost) creamy feeling on your lips. It also smells like lemons. Not a strong lemon, but a light lemon scent which I love. I received this for Christmas in the Sugar Rose Party Favor set and have not stopped using it. I went out to CVS to get an EOS just so this lip balm could last longer and so I have something else to use 3-4 times a day. It is currently $22.50 at Sephora. It is very pricey for a lip balm, personally. But is it really worth it? As I said I went and got an EOS lip balm. The Sugar Rose one is more moisturizing and last a little longer. But the EOS isn't bad either. I definately want to get this again, when I feel like I want to splurge. For now, I am just going to stick to the EOS which suits my needs. I really recommend this product if you're willing to pay for it. I would personally price for at least $15, $16, or even $17. This lip balm offers a light, sheer tint that's really nice too. Here is a link for the Fresh Sugar Rose Lip Treatment
